Smokers have different experiences during their fight to quit. Some may be overly tired, and some may be easily excitable. Other people may experience lightheadedness, nervousness or become irritable. It is common to have headaches as well as crave tobacco and/or sweets. What’s important though, is to know that these symptoms are normal. They could last for weeks, but there is light at the end of the tunnel: the symptoms will eventually go away.

So how exactly will you make your Junk Food Journal? Well, let’s ask ourselves the questions we need to answer to make a journal that is effective for us.

1.    How motivated am I to eat healthier?
2.    Do I have a junk food binging problem?
3.    Am I willing to be honest with myself about my eating habits? How honest will I be?
4.    What price do I place on my health?
5.    Will I make eating healthier a priority?
6.    Am I willing to purge myself from junk foods for a better quality of life?

Reach inside of yourself and find that control freak within you!  It’s time to take control of your health to take control of your life!  Why?  Because, you are what you eat.

If you don’t want to feel like junk, then don’t eat junk!

1.    The next time you do your groceries, DO NOT BUY ANY JUNK FOOD!  If you don’t buy junk, you won’t have any junk to eat.  It’s as simple as that!
